Abstract

In this work, we show a general technique for solving optimization problems that are comprised of minimizing a composition of a convex, non-smooth function with a smooth function. We demonstrate this technique in the seismic data processing context applied to robust missing trace interpolation in the low-rank Hierarchical Tucker tensor format as well as cosparsity-based missing trace interpolation.
